                                                                    Vietnamese Cultural Experience 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Theme 1: \u201cVietnamese through Cuisine \u2013 Southern Pancake (B\u00e1nh x\u00e8o)\u201d<\/p>\n

The Vietnamese Language Center for Foreigners, under the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH), VNU-HCMC, proudly introduces the 2025 series of \u201cVietnamese Cultural Experience Activities.\u201d<\/p>\n

The opening theme, \u201cVietnamese through Cuisine: Southern Pancake (B\u00e1nh x\u00e8o)\u201d, combines language learning, cultural discovery, and hands-on experience. It offers international learners an authentic opportunity to understand Vietnamese culture through its most flavorful expression \u2014 food.<\/p>\n

PROGRAM DETAILS<\/p>\n

Part 1 \u2013 Introduction & Language (Approx. 50 minutes)<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Warm-up and get-to-know session between instructors and participants.<\/li>\n
  • Overview of b\u00e1nh x\u00e8o<\/em> \u2013 its origin, cultural meaning, and regional variations.<\/li>\n
  • Learning Vietnamese vocabulary and expressions related to food, ingredients, and cooking techniques.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Part 2 \u2013 Cooking Practice (Approx. 70 minutes)<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Step-by-step demonstration by the instructor on how to make b\u00e1nh x\u00e8o<\/em>.<\/li>\n
    • Participants work in small groups or individually to make their own pancakes.<\/li>\n
    • Practice Vietnamese in real-life situations while experiencing the joy of cooking and sharing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Part 3 \u2013 Evaluation & Closing (Approx. 30 minutes)<\/p>\n

      • Evaluation and fun competition among groups \u2013 prizes for the best pancakes.<\/li>\n
      • Tasting session and sharing reflections in Vietnamese.<\/li>\n
      • Closing remarks and group photo in a friendly and cultural atmosphere.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        WHO CAN JOIN<\/p>\n

        The activity welcomes foreigners who love Vietnamese language and culture, especially current students at the Center or affiliated programs.
        Maximum participants: 20
        Languages used: Vietnamese (with English support)<\/p>\n
