The Center for Vietnamese Language for Foreigners (CVF)(The Faculty of Vietnamese Studies, HCMUSSH) held the closing ceremony for the Vietnamese language program for students from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (TUFS) on February 28, 2025.

Attending the ceremony were representatives from the Faculty’s Board, including Dr. Nguyễn Hoàng Phương (Vice Dean), along with lecturers who participated in teaching the course. The ceremony also welcomed TUFS students who had studied at the Center from February 24, 2025, to February 28, 2025, as well as Vietnamese Studies students who supported cultural exchange activities with international students.

The TUFS students confidently shared their thoughts and experiences during their time at the Center. Although their stay in Ho Chi Minh City was short, it left them with many beautiful memories. All students expressed their love for living in Ho Chi Minh City and learning Vietnamese. Moreover, they conveyed their desire to return to the Center in the near future.

 In his speech, Dr. Nguyễn Hoàng Phương congratulated the students on successfully completing their studies at the Center. The faculty members were delighted to witness the students’ positive progress within a short period.

The teachers were especially impressed by the students’ lively and charming performances in traditional Vietnamese áo dài. Their renditions of the songs “Chiếc thuyền nan” and “Sài Gòn đẹp lắm” clearly demonstrated their enthusiasm for learning Vietnamese and their affection for the Center.
