On March 21, 2025, The Center for Vietnamese Language for Foreigners (CVF) (The Faculty of Vietnamese Studies, HCMUSSH) organized the closing ceremony for the Vietnamese language program for students from Kokushikan University.
Attending the ceremony were representatives from the Faculty’s Board, including Dr. Nguyễn Hoàng Phương (Vice Dean), Dr. Nguyễn Huỳnh Lâm (Vice Dean), and other lecturers who participated in teaching the course. The ceremony also welcomed six students from Kokushikan University, who studied at the Center from March 5, 2025, to March 20, 2025.
During the graduation ceremony, the students confidently expressed their thoughts in Vietnamese. This marked a positive change in their learning journey at the Center. The students shared their excitement about learning Vietnamese and their cultural experiences in Vietnam. The three weeks in Ho Chi Minh City not only helped them build connections and foster friendships but also inspired them to strive harder in the future. They expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Center and the lecturers who had supported them from the moment they arrived in Vietnam until now.
The lecturers also shared their joy in accompanying the students on their Vietnamese learning journey. They encouraged the students to continue studying Vietnamese diligently and expressed their hope to see them return to Vietnam soon. On behalf of the Faculty’s Board, Dr. Nguyễn Hoàng Phương congratulated the students on completing their studies at the Center. The lecturers were proud of the students’ progress and growing confidence in using Vietnamese and hoped that they would always cherish their memories of their time in Vietnam.
The journey of learning Vietnamese and exploring the culture, country, and people of Vietnam is long, but the students have already gained valuable and memorable experiences that will motivate them on their future paths.
