On August 5, 2024, the Center for Vietnamese Language for Foreigners (CVF) under the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies at Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities (HCMUSSH) warmly welcomed students from National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan. The students will be participating in a Vietnamese language course from August 5 to August 30, 2024.

The welcome ceremony was attended by Professor Chen Jui-Hua, head of the National Tsing Hua University delegation, along with 10 students enrolled in the course. They were greeted by Dr. Nguyễn Hoàng Phương, a representative of the Faculty Board, as well as other faculty members involved in the program.

During the event, Dr. Nguyễn Hoàng Phương expressed gratitude to National Tsing Hua University for their trust and collaboration with the Center in the Vietnamese language program. He emphasized that this partnership lays the groundwork for a positive and enduring relationship between the two institutions. Professor Chen Jui-Hua reaffirmed that the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies is a trusted institution for Vietnamese language training in Ho Chi Minh City. He expressed hope that the participants would have a productive and enriching course, filled with memorable experiences, and expressed a desire for long-term cooperation with the Faculty in various future activities.

The students introduced themselves and their areas of study in Vietnamese. This opportunity to visit Vietnam not only aids them in improving their Vietnamese language skills but also deepens their understanding of the country’s culture and people, thereby supporting their academic and professional endeavors. The experienced and dedicated teaching staff at the Center are committed to supporting and assisting the students in achieving their learning goals.
