On September 13, 2024, The Center for Vietnamese Language for Foreigners (CVF)(The Faculty of Vietnamese Studies, HCMUSSH) warmly welcomed students from Southwest University of Political Science and Law (SWUPL) who will be studying at the university from September 13, 2024, to January 15, 2025.
Attending the welcome ceremony, on behalf of SWUPL, was Ms. Wei JinYuan, the head of the delegation. The reception was attended by representatives of the Faculty Board, Dr. Nguyễn Hoàng Phương, and lecturers of the program. All 29 students participating in the course were also present at the meeting.
During the welcome, Ms. Wei JinYuan (Leader of delegation) expressed her joy at the warm reception from the Center. She introduced SWUPL as one of the oldest universities specializing in political science and law in China. She also affirmed that the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies is a trusted destination for teaching Vietnamese language and Vietnamese Studies. She hoped for long-term collaboration with the Center and the Faculty in future activities.
Following this, Dr. Nguyễn Hoàng Phương (Vice Dean) expressed his gratitude to SWUPL for trusting and cooperating with the Center in teaching Vietnamese language and offering courses related to Vietnamese law. He hoped the students would have a productive learning experience during their time at the Center.
The students took turns introducing themselves and their majors in Vietnamese. This opportunity to study in Vietnam not only helps them improve their Vietnamese language skills but also enhances their understanding of the Vietnamese legal system, which will benefit their future careers.
In speeches during the meeting, the instructors of the course shared their excitement about accompanying the students on this learning journey. With their experience and expertise, the teachers will strive to deliver the legal subjects in the most understandable and concise way.
The Center will always support the students in achieving their learning goals. We hope the students successfully complete their program this semester!
